4 Educational tourist attractions Yogyakarta

1. Borobudur Language Village

Borobudur Language Village is one of the destinations in the Borobudur temple tourist area we have visited. At the place, we learned many new things. Established in 2007, it initially aimed to educate the local community in the English language. The village offers educational activities, as well as many photo spots and lodgings/homestays. It is located in the Borobudur tourist area, precisely in Parakan hamlet, Village Ngargogondo, Kec. Borobudur, Magelang, Central Java.

2. Tourist Attraction: The Lost World

We also visited Tour of the Lost World, an area of the volcano slope that is placed at Hamlet of Petung, Kepuharjo Cangkringan Village, Sleman, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The Lost World was established in the year 2004 with a land area of 1.3 hectares, this building was built to resemble Takeshi's fort.

3. Sonobudoyo Museum

We also visited the museum of Javanese culture and history. In the Sonobudoyo Museum, we saw many antique objects. Sonobudoyo Museum is a classic Javanese architectural building. This museum holds a collection of Javanese culture and history which is considered the most complete and accurate after the National Museum of the Republic of Indonesia in Jakarta. This museum is located on Jl. Pangurakan no. 6, Ngupasan, Kec. Gondomanan, Kota Yogyakarta, DIY.

4. Malioboro

A must-visit tourist destination for us when we go to Yogyakarta. Malioboro is a tourist area in the center of Yogyakarta city, there we saw lots of shopping places and places to eat. Malioboro was built by the Dutch East Indies government in the 19th century as an economic hub. "The heart of Yogyakarta" is a typical term for Malioboro.
